Plastic injection molding

Plastic injection molding with thermoplastics and thermosets as well as high-performance and bioplastics

BKT has been manufacturing plastic injection molded parts for over half a century. This makes us one of the most experienced specialists in plastic injection molding. Our range includes classic, conventional injection molding, overmolding and insert-/outsert-molding. We only use high-quality injection molding machines, such as the ARBURG brand, and almost all materials and additives are possible. Custom-made products and small series are just as welcome as large series.

Filling materials

We use various fillers to specifically control the required product properties. The right choice depends on the specific requirements of the end product and is determined together with the customer.

Functions and benefits

  • Improvement of mechanical properties
  • Weight reduction
  • Improvement of thermal conductivity
  • Stability against UV radiation
  • Surface quality

Filling materials used

  • Mineral fillers: talc, calcium carbonate, kaolin
  • Glass fibers, glass beads
  • Carbon fibers

Special applications

Depending on the area of application and customer requirements, we also use special applications:

Flame protection
flame retardant additives
UV protection
various UV stabilizers
Impact resistance
Impact-Modifiers oder spezielle Harze
Moisture resistance
Water-repellent additives or special resins
Electrical insulation
Insulating plastics with good dielectric values
Drinking water permit
Plastics that are safe in contact with water
Food safety grade
Special formulations for contact with food
Medical-use plastics
Biocompatible and sterilizable plastics
Recycling / Regranulates
Recyclable or bio-based plastics possible
Colors of choice
Standard colors and individual color mixtures possible

You are not sure which special application is necessary when or to what extent? We are ready to help.
